As we write this, we can hear the echoes from the hollow webpages.
Not sure if anyone is still reading or checking this site, but if you are, we hope that today will not disappoint.
The last blog was in May, right after our trip with the Ds to Salzburg. Since then, we hope you’ve been keeping up with our adventures via JJ’s blog. She did an excellent job of recording her time in London. We loved having her visit and were excited seeing her embrace this city which we find quite enjoyable.
We didn’t make it to Wimbledon this year. Matt went to Hong Kong with work and got caught in a typhoon. He was fine, just had to stay inside his hotel all day. The week after he got back, Bree left for Dubai – she spent a week in the hot, dry desert – she felt like she was back home in West Texas…
She got back the day the mission team from Texas arrived.
This summer was quite different than years past. Our American friends that Fs and Ps were gone, so we had to find other cool people to hang with. Luckily JJ was the ultimate in cool-ness and we were so glad to have her to hang with. We did musicals, movies on the Southbank, spas in Bath, tennis matches, fashion with Gok Wan, and enjoyed her limited cooking! She’s welcome to come back anytime she wants (and she introduced us to our new favorite restaurant, the FISH club!
Matt had a birthday recently – he got some bike gear as he’s been biking to work lately and a Texas cowboy cookbook that has been used once.
Bree has two new cousins, Wyatt and Landree. Will be good to meet them later this year.
We’re still liking our jobs – which is good because if you talk to JJ, we’re never home and always at work, so it’s a good thing we like it! Bree’s working on some interesting projects in Dubai, Matt’s starting to work on some projects with India, so looks like there could be more travelling with work in the near future. With JJ here for the summer, we didn’t do any travelling, but will have to plan a short weekend trip for the fall before heading home to Texas for Christmas!
Until then… (or until we post again),

A new blog, huh? well good for you! I guess the long wait between blogs caused your spelling ability to deteriorate. A couple of examples:
"Matt’s starting to work on some projects with India, so looks like there could be more travelling with work in the near future"
-you just left a few letters off - its actually spelled Indianapolis, colts have a new stadium, you should check it out.
"The week after he got back, Bree left for Dubai – she spent a week in the hot, dry desert – she felt like she was back home in West Texas…"
-first of all capatilize all the letters in an acronym, and you jumbled them to boot - DBIA (Dayton Beach International Airport) and I've never been but i doubt anywhere in Florida is similar to West Texas
By the way:
USA - 110 medals
Great(more like Good) Britain - 47 medals
I remain,
Bored.
I cannot begin to top my cousin's fine words of wisdom, so I'll just say that it was good to hear from you & get the latest update!
