If you still check this...
If you still check this, then you are either a true friend or are not being as diligent at work as you should be. Whichever category you fall into, thanks for your persistence and I'm happy to be able to reward you today with... a post. That's right a small tid-bit of an update on our lives.
In our defense:
1) Other fellow bloggers seem to have also slowed down as of late... is blogging supposed to be something that you do like a daily journal entry or only when you have something worthwhile to post? PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR COMMENTS BELOW.
2) Busy season should be over shortly, at which time, we will be out of new excuses for not making time to post.
But back to more exciting matters with an exercise theme:
1) B's team won the championship of their basketball tournament. When she comes home tonight, we should know what her prize(s) are. Last week, she was knocked out by the eventual champion of the free-throw shootout... she was the only one to take him to double-overtime.
2) I bought a bike, AND more excitingly I rode it home from work... 40 minutes of pedaling. Who would have thought I'd have it in me after a year of virtually zero physical activity. I was beat all weekend. Of course, those of you who know me will know that I obtained this piece of equipment used from a coworker for a reasonable price... and he threw in a helmet and a lock. Voila! I'm in business just in time for spring.

I for one am glad to see a new posting here - I never lost faith! As for other bloggers...a few of them have turned to MySpace. I will let them comment further on that. Happy to hear from you two!

Thank you for starting off my morning with a pleasant surprise! A Post from MAJ! Quite a novelty these days I must say. Please be careful on your "new" bike. -- Mommy
i don't know if you've ever told me what you wear to work - but the first thought i had when i read that you rode your bike home was that if you had a suit and bike helmet on and were back in the states there would be no doubt in the minds of those looking that you were either a mormon or jehovah's witness. I'm sure your fellow enlandites would think nothing of it - just thought how much i would love a pic of my bro-in-law in a suit and a bike helmet (hint hint my b-day is coming up)
Any use of the terms "Mormon" or "Jehovah's Witness" in the previous comment in no way reflects the thoughts or opinions of the owners of this blog. Nor do the owners believe that bicycles, suits and helmets are "out of style" or "represent a "weird" lifestyle". In fact the owners of this blog sometimes dress "out of style" and sometimes "represent a "weird" lifestyle" themselves.
Thank you and God Bless.

I made my first bicycle trip in years last weekend and it was quite scary. English roads are a bit too small and English drivers a bit too scary. But Ant doesn't seem to mind. I think I will stick to walking for now.
As for blogging, the more the merrier. I am trying to keep up my habit since I am rubbish at calling people on the phone. At least I am somewhat in touch. Any random thoughts will do. No need for anything exciting!
mmmhmmm. i've almost given it up myself. the only thing that leads me on is the guilt produced by that little meter that keeps clicking at the bottom.
hey sweetie, i have revoked the blogging privileges and the "legal credentials" of your attorney. also i am the only true west texan that is allowed to double post. your only daddy.
