Countdown is on...
Countdown is on... we fly in a matter of days for our mini-sabbatical to catch up with family and friends. We will celebrate Thanksgiving in the US for the first time in 4 years!
October was an unusual month:
-Matt treked through the woods on a green experience. When Bree came up, we went to see a Rhodes Scholar who gave us a tour of THE MAGNETRON... we took off all jewelry and watches before venturing too close.
-Bree went back to Dubai. Yes, she does like it there. How can she not when staying in a 5-star hotel, with all meals paid for, driving instead of public transport, laying by the pool/beach and working on a tan in October. Not to mention a trip to the waterpark. Contrast this with walking in the rain in London. The 3 hours in a police station is another story that you'll have to ask her about.
No trick-or-treators for us, but Matt helped out at a party at the church.
November has been tame in comparison, mostly trying to get our work done before leaving.
Third quarter results meant that Matt worked harder for Bree for once.
Bree stayed up all night to watch the elections... Matt headed to bed after Pennsylvania.
Bree also managed to see the fireworks at Clapham Common in celebration of Guy Fawkes day.
Look forward to seeing you soon!
