It's dawned on me that Bree's returning home in about 36 hours. This is great news of course.
But it means that I don't have much time to write... somebody's gotta clean up the house before Wednesday and I don't think it's going to be my roommate.
But, I will say that the Legend of Zorro made me laugh - certainly more humorous than the first one. I think I still like the Mask of Zorro better.
And, on a deeper note, I'm starting to get excited about Thanksgiving, which includes a visit from my former roommate Mark & his fiancee. Allegedly they wed in July, but we haven't seen them since, so I don't know how it could really be official yet.
But Thanksgiving will be very strange... for the first time we have to figure out who's going to do what! Always before, everyone had their delineated responsibilities. Now, we have to decide who's going to get the turkey, who's going to make the pumpkin pie, who's going to light the candles and say the grace. And I don't know if we're going to be courageous enough to undertake the Coke salad. And we have to determine an alternative to watching the Cowboys. I'm thankful for the chance to be thankful, but it sure seems like it's going to be a lot of work. Where's the family when you need them most?
